MZT Skopje made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Strangely Madzari outrebounded MZT Skopje 43-30 including 31 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian center Dusan Tanaskovic (208-2001) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international power forward Andrej Maslinko (208-1997) contributed with 17 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four MZT Skopje players scored in double figures. American guard Tommie Lewis (188-2001, college: ETAMU, agency: 6th Man Basketball Agency) answered with 27 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import guard Terry Armstrong (201-2000, college: Arizona, agency: 6th Man Basketball Agency) added 19 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for Madzari.
